I had some troubles displaying correctly web pages in IE: it was scaling fonts and stretching images on every page. The solution is in the MSDN pages:

Remove the

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
 Software
   Microsoft
     Internet Explorer
       Main
         UseHR= dword:00000001

Internet Explorer sucks anyway ...
